Author Lisa Wiehebrink writes children’s books that uniquely bridge the connection between people and animals. Through her non-profit organization Tails That Teach, she donates her books to elementary schools and humane societies around the country to inspire kindness to all living beings and encourage literacy. Lisa is also the proud founder of National Rescue Dog Day which recognizes the special bond that comes with rescuing a dog and brings awareness to the countless number of dogs waiting to be adopted. Lisa is a graduate of California State University Fullerton and lives in southern California with her family and four rescue dogs.
