Coco Eco is a publication at the forefront of the sustainable fashion and beauty movement. With their focus on environmental protection and animal advocacy, their mission perfectly matches that of Be Kind & Co: kindness to all living things.
Over the course of her lifetime, our founder Lu Parker has dedicated herself to several causes including veganism, women’s rights, homelessness and animal adovocacy. With this, we believe she was a perfect contender to be featured by CoCo Eco as a “Warrior Woman”: women who have a kickass career, a certain sort of flair, and who always fight for what is right.
As one of Hollywood’s “wildly kind” women, Lu appears in this issue wearing gorgeous, cruelty-free animal print and faux leather outfits. With Los Angeles’ beautiful Westlake Village Inn as her backdrop, she emphasizes how fashion can be both chic and animal-friendly.
Coco Eco’s Editor in Chief, Anna Griffin, sat down with Lu to discuss important issues such as self-image, kindness in the workplace, and keeping a positive attitude.
