Since I was a young child, I knew being kind felt good. It started with being kind to injured animals. As I grew up, I realized being kind to my friends and fellow students in high school was the right way to act.
Years later while competing in the Miss Universe pageant as Miss USA, I was asked on stage, “What do you believe is your mission in life?” I answered, “As a high school teacher (at the time) if I could help even one person have an easier path, it would be worth it.” I still strongly feel that way.
Today I try and find ways to be kind to others daily. I also attempt to be kind to myself by breaking bad habits or saying something sweet to myself. Kindness creates situations that change people’s lives forever. You never know what someone is going through.
As I embark on sharing Be Kind & Co., I trust you understand my intentions and know I believe together we can help each other on our path of life.
Best,
