The neighborhood network, Nextdoor, is known for connecting neighbors around the world and now they have launched a new podcast series titled, ‘Where Kindness Lives.’ According to Nextdoor CEO Sarah Friar, the podcast gives listeners helpful and easy takeaways for cultivating kindness in their own communities. ‘Where Kindness Lives’ is hosted by Nextdoor’s Managing Director Jennie Sager who is a former producer for Discovery, MTV, and National Geographic.
Lu Parker got a chance recently to catch up with New York native Sager who is currently living in Australia with her husband and three young kids. They discussed all kinds of topics including self-care, how to learn to be more kind to neighbors, recognizing loneliness, and how knowing a certain amount of neighbors can lower stress and anxiety. Can you guess what that number might be?
‘Where Kindness Lives’ is available via Acast, Amazon Music, Apple Podcast, Spotify and YouTube. Neighbors around the world turn to Nextdoor daily to receive trusted information, give and get help, get things done, and build real-world connections with those nearby — neighbors, businesses, and public services.
