Using energy healing techniques suggested in the Emotion Code, we can protect ourselves from negativity and improve our outlook on life.

The world is full of negative energy. Negative energy can present in many ways, including negative thoughts, fatigue, depression, and a lack of gratitude for the good things in life. It can be challenging to keep a positive perspective with so much turmoil all around. You encounter negative energy from people who are generating negative emotions, whether fear, frustration, sadness, anger, or any of a number of negative emotions. Your own perspective and feelings can certainly be influenced by those of others and determine how you feel about your overall circumstances.

We are not always consciously aware of the negative energy around us but when it gets trapped within, we feel its weight. When you carry emotional negativity within yourself for a sustained period of time, it can be a heavy load impacting many areas of your life. Trapped emotional energy causes a host of problems and challenges. You can sometimes sense that you have emotional baggage on the surface simply by its effect on your life: by the dysfunction, pain, and sleepless nights.

On a deeper level, you can literally identify discreet emotional energies that became trapped and figure out exactly where they came from, and then clear them with the Emotion Code®. That is where a solution is found and where the fun begins.

What is the Emotion Code?

It is an energy clearing technique or method of energy healing that I developed while in practice in the late 90s. I taught seminars to empower people to be able to clear their own Trapped Emotions beginning in about 1998 and wrote a book on the topic in 2007. Our team has since trained thousands of people in this method with great success, helping them to free themselves and others of their negative Trapped Emotions, lifting their energy to new levels. Fewer Trapped Emotions mean less physical pain, less emotional pain, and a lighter, more optimistic outlook.

More Trapped Emotions released from your energy field can translate into a higher quality of life, healthier relationships, goals being attained, and dreams being reached.

The world needs help right now and it is up to us to create a healthier and happier world. Love is always a solution. It is time to roll up our sleeves and get busy using tools like the Emotion Code to create a way for more peace, more kindness, and more love. Happiness and joy are the consequence. I think we can all agree that we want more of that.

Identifying Excess Negative Energy

Sometimes while trying to serve and love others, we try so hard to be there for them that we can lose sight of our own needs. You might overlook or ignore warning signs that you are suffering from trapped negative energy yourself. When you feel a sense of diminishing positive energy, you will want to take care of yourself, too. Some signs that it is time to raise your vibration and rid yourself of negative energy include

  • Mood Swings
  • Apathy
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of Concentration
  • Anxiousness
  • Emotional Numbness
  • Unexplained Physical Discomfort

Ways to Get Rid of Negative Energy

If you find you have taken in unwanted negative energy, or if you think you might have some Trapped Emotions blocking you from having the joy you’d like to feel, you can do some things to change. Learning how to do so is an important step in protecting yourself. Use the following ideas to safeguard yourself from negative energy as you seek to keep your mind and heart positive:

Control what you eat and drink.

Eat healthy, whole foods and drink lots of pure water. The shorter the time from tree to tasting, from ground to gourmet, the more positive energy you will receive. Your body needs to be nourished to be able to truly support you, and water is essential to many of your body’s processes. You need to stay hydrated to be healthy.

Control what is around you.

Both positive and negative emotions can be contagious, so it is important to stay away from chronically toxic people and situations. With today’s smartphones, social media, and 24-hour news, we can be constantly inundated with information, images, and commentary. Much of it is negative, and it’s easy to become emotionally swamped by what’s going on in the world. You may react by feeling helpless when seeing someone in trouble, or vulnerable when hearing continuous reports about the pandemic, or frustrated and judgmental about a political issue. It only increases the general level of negativity if you contribute more of
the same, either as a participant or as an observer. When you see a situation that you can contribute to in a positive way, you may feel compelled to do so. That’s great! Helping others is a sure way to raise your vibration. It benefits you as well as those you help. It’s important that you choose your level of involvement, though. Set clear boundaries for yourself, and maintain them, including limiting your exposure to the media. Everyone has just so much time, money and energy, so spend yours wisely.

Eliminate clutter, physical and emotional.

Clean lines and open spaces in your living area can provide calmness and serenity. Likewise, you can take action to purge yourself of emotional clutter like Trapped Emotions. Energy healing is one of the easiest, most effective ways to rid yourself of negative energy. Practicing The Emotion Code® on yourself or with a practitioner on a regular basis could help you address your negative emotional energy, especially when you’re going through difficult times. Emotion Code sessions can be done at a distance so you don’t need to be concerned about leaving home to get the work done by a certified practitioner. They can
work on you at a distance while you are at home and it only takes a few minutes. Spending just a few minutes a week or a month to take care of your emotional health is more than worth the investment.

Connect to your own sense of spirituality

When you spend some time in meditation or prayer and make a real connection with yourself or with your religion, you will realize this is the source of all that is good. There is nothing more joyful than feeling the love and peace that can come from feeling one with the universe. Ask for what you need to sustain you, believing that you are loved and supported in all your needs.

Nurture yourself in nature!

Spending time in the outdoors can help you in your grounding process. Make a conscious effort to disconnect from distractions and spend time being nurtured by nature. Whether it’s mountains or the beach or your own backyard, quiet reflection in the great outdoors can be a wonderful way to ground yourself. Another way to connect to nature is the concept known as “earthing.” You know that great feeling you have after a day at the beach? Standing or walking on bare feet in the sand or in the grass or soil can rid your body of ever-so-damaging negative energy.

Embrace humor and learn to find joy.

As they say, “Laughter is the best medicine.” Keep your sense of humor and enjoy the fun that is such an important part of the human experience. Funny things happen every day but you need to notice and appreciate those things. Laughter can rejuvenate your energy and improve your mood. Think about all you have to be grateful for and share that gratitude. Keep negative energy at bay with positive thoughts and acts of kindness.

Slow down and love the little things.

Humans have adopted the rat race as a way of life, and it need not be that way. There is nothing and no one more important than YOU. Make sure you have sufficient alone time and use it to enjoy what makes you content. A walk in the woods, smelling fresh-cut grass, watching children play, and a day of reading — the possibilities are endless. A grateful heart leaves little room for negative thoughts and feelings to grow. If you find yourself spending all of your time focusing on problems and trying to figure out how to get rid of negative energy, you need to make some changes in your life. If you are caught in a downward spiral of negative thoughts, observe your surroundings and activities. Decide to make the changes you need to raise your vibration. A life of contentment results from choices we make. Each of us has the gift of agency. We have the personal power and freedom to make choices. The choice to raise your energy vibration is one that anyone can make. Life can be a beautiful experience when your choices reflect an intent for kindness, gratitude, and love. Everything is energy, so the more positive your energy is, the better you will feel, and the happier your life.
